a triple champion. In 2003-4 Matti raced in track 16 times with 16 CC-times and won 11
races. His own records are 23,25s/280m and 28,98s/350m (= current Finnish record!). In
2003-4 Matti competed 11 times in lure coursing being 9 times a finalist and won 4 races.
In 2004 Matti won the Finnish championship games both in lure coursing and track racing!
In 2004 Matti was #1 track racing sight hound and basenji and fastest basenji in track. He
was also #2 lure coursing basenji in 2004. In 2005 he has raced 14 times and won 13
times with 5 track records and was again #1 track racing basenji and #1 track racing sight
hound and fastest basenji in track. In 2006 Matti has raced track 14 times with two new
track records and won again the Finnish championship in track racing and was again #1
track racing basenji and fastest basenji in track. He was # 1 track racing basenji
in the Finnish Sight Hound Club's, Helsinki Sight Hound Club's and Finnish Basenji Club's
tallies in 2006! In 2007 he won a lure coursing CC also from Esthonia and is also
Esthonian LC-Ch. In 2007 Matti won again both Finnish championships in lure coursing and

Amalia
started competing in 2007 and was # 1 basenji in Finnish Sight Hound Club's,
Helsinki Sight Hound Club's and Finnish Basenji Club's tallies in 2007 & 2008. She
finished her championship in the first competition in 2008 and is the youngest lure
coursing champio in Finland. Amalia won the Finnish Cup 2008 and was Best in Field. In
2008 she has been nearly unbeatable in the field. She also won the Derby in 2008.
Amalia's first track race was on July 16th 2008. She won her first race and made a track
record 23.07 s / 280 m naturally with CC-time. She won the Finnish track racing
championship race 2008 and made 2 track records (last one 28.84 s / 350 m). She won the
Finnish Cup again in 2009. In track racing she won the basenji club championchip 2009,
Sprinter 2009, Nordic winner 2009 and Finnish winner 2009 -titles and made a new track
record in all but one competition. She won the basenji club championchip 2009 in lure
coursing. Amalia was #1 track racing basenji in 2009 and #1 lure coursing basenji bitch in
Europe. #1 lure couring basenji in Europe and Finland 2010. |
