On October 3rd a female puppy has been born to apricot medium size bitch Bigemina's One For Me Tinker Bell aka Tosca . The father is Zebec Running Randy aka Sirius and the breeder is Sirpa Kajander. The puppy will be registered under Bigemina's kennel and she will be called Bigemina's Princess Maya Protege of Gods aka Maya . Maya will accompany her mom in her family in Ikaalinen. Today was a day of deep sorrow for us all! Tiina's almost 16 years old Onni aka Greyfun's Happy Go Lucky has passed away. He left us grief but also many beautiful and happy memories ! .

Goa aka Bigemina's One Ou One Jack Dundee participated with his handler Teresia to the Winner weekend in Helsinki. The first show on the 2nd of December was Nord show called " Helsinki -winner 2022 ", where the poodle judge was Petru Muntean from Romania. The judge liked Goa a lot and the result was EXC, Open#1, CQ, CAC, NORD res -CAC.
On Dec.3rd there was also Nord- show, the " Nordic Winner 2022 ", and the poodle judge was Jukka Lillstang Von Wendt from Finland. Goa was not placed in the best dog ring, but as the fifth dog he got his third CAC and with that he became new Finnish Champion . The critics were appreciative:" Excellent type. Right proportions. Dark slightly round eyes. Very beautiful head. Good underjaw. Excellent forechest. Correctly and evenly angulated. Good quality of fur. Good tail, which could be set slightly higher. Moves in a balanced way if desires. Could be slightly better posture while moving "
The last show on the dec. 4th was the international " Winner 2022 show". Poodles were judged by Stefan Wächter from Germany. He appreciated Goa with result EXC, Openc#1, CQ, BM#3, Res-CACIB. The critics was as follows: 3 years. Typical breed appearance. Perfect size. Straight muzzle. Dark eyes. Straight, solid back. Medium length neck. Correct tail set. Slightly flattened rib cage, adequate chest depth. Limbs correctly set and angulated. Very elastic wool of medium even shade. A light step. Typical movement and head position.

Goa aka Bigemina's One Ou One Jack Dundee took parti in two group shows in Hämeenlinna. In Oct. 8th show the judge was Tarja Löfman from Finland, who appreciated Goa with EXC, Open#1, CQ, BM#2, CAC! The critics were: " 3 years old excellent type masculine male. Good bite and pigmentation and suitable colour of eyes. Slightly narrow muzzle part. Right proportions of head. Well angulated in front. Good bone structure. Narrow ribcage with the right depth. Good length of neck. Correct set and carried tail. In Oct. 9th show poodles were judged by Iren Naarits from Estonia. She gave Goa EXC, Open#1. The critics was as follows: Very nice type, lovely type of a long head that is masculine. Good neck, needs better angulation in front, good in rear. Rib cage should be much stronger. Topline should be a bit better. Good angulations in rear.Very good groomig. Enough reach and drive in movement.

Elsa aka Bigemina's Life is All Smiles and Giggles finnished her shows for this summer in Forssa INT show. The judge was Björge Espeland from Norge. The result was EXC, Open #3.
His critics was as follows: Exc type and size. Feminine. Nice head and expression. Good rise of neck. Nice topline. Good tailset. Balanced in quarters in both ends. Nice coat and colour. Good mover.

Elsa aka Bigemina's Life is All Smiles and Giggles continued her hunt for the last CAC for the Championship, when mom packed her and Tilda in the car headed to Pori. In Pori INT show the judging was performed by Australian Coral Gray. She appreciated Elsa with EXC, OPEN#1, CQ, BB#2, FI CH, res-CACIB . Now our little girl is new Finnish Champion !
The critics was as follows: 2 y old bitch. Pretty head and expression. Decent ribbing. Balanced angulations front and rear. Keen and intelligent eyes. Moved easily with thriving light action.

On the 10th of July Elsa aka Bigemina's Life is All Smiles and Giggles was in Mäntsälä All Breed show. The judge for poodles was Saija Juutilainen from Finland. Elsa went VG, Open#1. The judge also measured her with result 35cm as she is previously measured to be 37cm. Luckily the measurement was still sufficient to medium class. The judgement was as follows: 2 years. Size 35cm. Young female with good body. Sufficient bones in feet and sufficient angulations. Suitable arch of the neck and form of the tail. Very beautiful feminine head and expression. Good bite and pigmentation. The muzzle should be fuller. Very beautiful colour. Promising fur. Arches her loin. Very low tailset. Front movement should stabilize. Moves with good drive from side. Suitable carriage and style. Needs better movements.

This year's first show and also first after her 2nd birthday for Elsa aka Bigemina's Life is All Smiles and Giggles was in Helsinki INT in so called Royal Canin Show. The judge for poodles was Suzana Simon from Kroatia. Elsa was not her type and the result went VG, Open#2. The judgement was as follows: "Nice size and proportion. Correct head. Little rounded eye. Correct bite. Straight in shoulders. Short neck. Lower set tail. Enough anqulations. Good coat quality. In movement narrow behind. Nice temperament."

Bigemina's One Ou One Jack Dundee aka Goa took part in Finnish Poodle Club's Speciality Show in Lahti, where judge Ann Ingram from Great-Britannia was judging the medium size poodles. Goa's result was fabulously EXC, OPEN#2 with CQ. The review was as follows: " Well presented with excellent coat and color, long refined head, with well chiseled foreface, correct tail, dark almond shaped eyes, good reach of neck, a little loose in the elbows, good body and topline, correct tail set, strong hindquarters, covers the ground easily on the move, with nice carriage and great attitude.". On March 26th, 2022 Bigemina's One Ou One Jack Dundee aka Goa participated in Lahti INT show, where the judge was Klaus Strack from Germany. The result was VG. Goa is owned by Sirpa Kajander. The judgement was: " 2,5 years old. Good type Strong, masculinen head. Good expression. Correct neck, topline, tailset. Very good angulation front and rear. Parallel movement. Typical coat. Nice temperament."

On March 30th, 2022 Goa has also became sire to 3 female and 4 male puppies. The dame is red Bella aka Bellatrix. Congratulations!

In Finnish Winner 2021 - show, veteran judge and poodle breeder Henrik Hannelius finnished his long time judging carreer grading poodles for the last time. Bigemina's Life is All Smiles and Giggles aka Elsa took part in the apricot/grey/red group of 24 mediums. Elsa did splendidly getting EXC, CQ, INTC #1, BB#3, CAC and res-CACIB. Warm thanks to judge Hannelius for appreciating our little girl.

Very unfortunate news from the health field: Bigemina's One Step Jedi Master aka Vinski has been diagnosed with Addison's disease in late November, 2021. Vinski is 2 years old. His dam Dala Bigemina's My Darling Diandra was diagnosed with the same disease just on March, 2021.

In Hyvinkää all breed show two of our pandemia time baby girls Bigemina's Life is All Smiles and Giggles aka Elsa and Bigemina's Like an Angel Sighing aka Hertta made there debute in show rings. First the tiny girls were officially measured and Hertta was transfered into miniatures as she was 31 cm withers. Elsa was 37 cm and still medium size.

In the ring of medium size poodles Elsa got the jack pot. She went EXC, JUN#1, CQ, BB#1, CAC, BOB. Hertta though in the miniature ring was a bit overwhelmed of the experience and got VG. The ever so empathetic judge was Helin Tenson, who treated the first-timers with extra gentle way and understanding.

In the end of the year 2020 members of the Bigemina's O litter has been health checked with excellent results.

Bigemina's No Skidmarks aka Ruuti has got agility CAC in Medi-3 group in Porvoo competition and with that he achieved the title of Agility Champion in jumping . The judge was Markku Kaukinen.

Bigemina's My Mathilda MacGyver aka Tilda has given birth to 5 perky and energetic female puppies. Tilda has been bred with two males: the fathers are Staccato's Vicenza aka Nano and Greyfun's Happy Go Lucky aka Onni. More detaled information of the dogs are in the Puppies page. The puppies will be DNA tested before registration.

Bigemina's No Skidmarks aka Ruuti took part in Lahti group show to achieve a show result needed for the agility championship title. Ruuti succeeded well, got quality marking "very good" and won open class males. The judge Kimmo Mustonen estimated Ruuti as follows:" Good type and well proportioned male. Correct bite. Good head and expression.Good eyes and ears. Slight softness on back. Suitable strength in body and skeleton. Enough angulations. Good quality of fur. Fluent mover. Slightly inexperienced in show occation."

Ruuti's agility caree has continued successfully last year. Ruuti got his first jump CAC in medi-3 class on August 23th in Vantaa in pre competition of the Finnish Championship. Out of 81 pairs Ruuti and his handler Laura became 5th. The judge was Jouni Kautto. Ruuti got the second jump CAC in Sipoossa on August 5th, 2019 when out of 41 pairs Ruuti and Laura went second. The judge was Stefanie Semkat.

Bigemina's Nobody But Tobias aka Topi payed us a visit

Year 2018 was successful for us. We are heading to the new year with new plans and with new expectations! Happy New Year 2019 to all of you!

We made a lovely, summery trip to Riga, Latvia, to see the town and participate in Latvian winner- show. In the dog show Bigemina's My Mathilda MacGyver aka Tilda went EXC, ChC#2, CQ, BB#2 and got res-CACIB. The winner bitch was already an International Champion so Tilda's res-CACIB will be confirmed to CACIB and Tilda will be a brand new International Champion . The judge was Primoz Peer (SI ). Bigemina's Niki Pohjoinen Tähti aka Niki is new Master of Nosework in Elementary Level. We are so proud!

Bigemina's My Darling Diandra aka Dala has been health checked. The results are all together excellent: eyes clear, knees 0/0, back healthy, elbows 0/0, hips A/A, cardiac auscultation clear.

We made a short trip to Estonia again and participated in Tallinn IDS in the same lovely company of Nora and mini doxie Calle. Bigemina's My Mathilda MacGyver aka Tilda went EXC, CQ, BB#1, CACIB and BOB. The judge was Jose Vidal Montero from Spain. Unfortunately the ship schedule didn't allow us to stay in the group competition.

In the second Pärnu IDS Tilda went EXC, CQ, BB#2, res-CACIB. The judge was Olga Kisliakova from Belarus.

In Pärnu IDS Bigemina's My Mathilda MacGyver aka Tilda got result EXC, CQ, BB#1, EE CAC, CACIB, BOS and Tilda achieved the title of Estonian Champion . BOB was Tilda's half-brother Of Hannelhill Lasse Lucidor, who also became new Estonian Champion! Congratulations! The judge was Kimo Mustonen from Finland.

In Riihimäki IDS Bigemina's My Mathilda MacGyver aka Tilda was competing for the first time after her second birthday. Her result was EXC, CQ, BB#1, BOB, CAC, CACIB and finally she achieved the title of Finnish Champion .

Emil aka Fabio G Teschiro participated his first veteran class with result, EXC#1, BM#3, BOB-veteran. The judge was Inga Siil from Estonia.

In Bytom national dog show in Poland Bigemina's Niki Pohjoinen Tähti got again EXC #1, CWC and finally achieved the title of Polish Champion . The judge was Stefan Dimitijevic from Serbia.

In Poland Bigemina's Niki Pohjoinen Tähti aka Niki participated in national dog show in Bytom. She went EXC#1, CWC ( Polish CAC ). The judge was Dusan Paunovic from Serbia.

Bigemina's No Skidmarks aka Ruuti has successfully continued his agility carreer with his owner / handler Laura Vaija with wonderful results. Ruuti got his second LUVA ( class change ) in medi-2 class on May 14th in Valkeakoski, where he won with time -6,89 s. The judge was Asko Jokinen. Third LUVA and AGILITY CAC was acchieved in Sipoo on June 4th with the winning time -12,42 s. The judge was Johanna Nyberg. Ruuti is continuing in medi-3 class!

In addition to her successful show career Bigemina's Niki Pohjoinen Tähti is also active as a hobby in dog racing, coursing and agility.

She has also participated a dog racing competition and was fabulously fourth.

And the latest new is nose work training where she has just today finnished the NS-NZ exam (nature exam for beginners). On the picture Niki is second from the left. As breeders we are ever so grateful and happy for Niki to have such committing owners allowing her to be active and express herself.

In Hyvinkää agility competition Bigemina's No Skidmarks aka Ruuti and owner - handler Laura Vaija won medi-2 class jump track and LUVA in time -8,51 s. The judge was Elina Hannikainen-Himanen.

Bigemina's No Skidmarks aka Ruuti has been taking part in official agility competitions in medi-1 class during the year 2016. Ruuti with his owner and handler Laura Vaija has won two LUVAs ( class change ) in 2016. On Oct. 8th in Hyvinkää they won jump track with time -9,29 s. The judge was Ritva Herrala. On Dec. 3rd in Vantaa they went second place with time -8,40 s. The judge was Markku Kaukinen. Third LUVA with AGI CAC the pair got on Feb. 4th, 2017 in Sipoo, where they won with time -12,26 s and for now on they are competing in class medi-2. Cordial congratulations to Ruuti and Laura!

Bigemina's Niki Pohjoinen Tähti started the year with a new title. In KPaCHP o.s. New Year's club specialty in Stredokluky she got EXC#1, KCH and she was second best medium size female in the show. Niki finished the title of KPaCHP Champion ! The judge was Olga Dolejsova from Czech rep.

In KPaCHP o.s. Advent club specialty in Prague Niki went EXC#1, KCH, 2nd Best Medium size female. The judge was Alena Kostalova (CZ).

In Prague Expo Double CACIB show Niki was EXC#1 and got CAC. The judge was Anna Rogowská from Poland.
Niki was also evaluated for stud female with nice review by judges Mrs Klirova and Mrs Smyckova and she was measured humongous 45 cm in withers.

In IDS in České Budějovice Bigemina's Niki Pohjoinen Tähti was EXC#1, CAC, CAC CMKU, CACIB, BOS. The judge was Carmen Fischer from Germany.

In International dogshow again in Geneva, Switzerland, Bigemina's Niki Pohjoinen Tähti achieved her very first BOB-result, Exc #1, JCAC, BOJ, BOB, under judge Stephen Wheeler from Sweden. She also achieved the title of Swiss Junior Champion! The whole Team Bigemina's proudly congratulates Terezie and Jan!
